Scalable Specialty Media Storage Platforms

Safe Multi-Terabytes of Storage

vStor and eStor are the building blocks of success.
They are by their design, Scalable Specialty Media Storage Platforms. It is true, we are saving Broadcasters, Production Facilities, Religious and Educational Media Departments, time and money. They LOVE the Apace tools for their ease of deployment, ease of use and easy administration.

When it comes to sharing media and media assets with a number of users, along with addressing the need for safe multi Terabytes of storage, the Apace tools are indeed the best choice.

With more pressure on budgets than ever, you need to make the right purchase decisions. You need to do more with less.

For example one vStor v3000 can support 40 x DVCPro 50 concurrent video streams or 20 x DVCProHD!!! Available in 6, 12, 18 and 24TB capacities. At 24TB you can hold approx. 1869 hours of DV25, 934 hours of DV50 or 466 hours of DVCProHD. Oh yaaaaa!

eStor, a rock solid raid 6 archive media storage platform, 6,12,16,18,24 and now 36TB of storage. Simple plug and play!

Both vStor and eStor works with the below and more!!!! Including On air servers, Still Store, CG and other Broadcast tools.

  • Avid Media Composer NLE
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Harris Velocity Q NLE
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • MAC FCP Studio NLE

Powerful Transcode tools for Windows and Mac
    Telestream's Episode

Telestream maker of FilpFactory has announced a new enhancement to its line of desktop media encoding products that provides support from both Windows- and Mac-based editing platforms. Now with Telestream Episode and Episode applications you can encode media to virtually every audio and video file format.

"We've heard loud and clear from the market that Windows users want the powerful capabilities that Episode for the Mac provides," said Barbara DeHart, Telestream's vice president of marketing. "With availability on both platforms and support for all major formats, including Flash 8 as a standard feature-all in a single tool, Episode is well positioned to streamline any encoding workflow need."

Along with the new cross-platform, a new "watch folder" addition has been made to the encoding products. This allows users to simply place finished editing projects into folders for automatic encoding, saving both user effort and time. Telestream Episode products are scalable from single user standalone desktop media encoding applications to large volume server-based encoding applications.

Capture High-Def Video and Encode in Real Time!
    Telestream's Pipeline

Telestream recently heralded the release of the latest member of its Pipeline series of network capture devices, the Pipeline HD Dual. This is a two-channel hardware-based device that captures high-definition video and encodes it in real time to some of the leading HD editing formats. The Pipeline HD Dual is able to encode video and audio to multiple HD and SD formats and may reside on a network, thus allowing anyone in the system to access it over Ethernet.

"Our family of Pipeline network encoders have changed the game in video capture by providing network-based ingest for the capture and encoding of multiple HD and SD formats from a single device," said Barbara DeHart, Telestream vice president of marketing. "Our ability to support editing or encoding of incoming content while it is being captured makes Pipeline the unparalleled choice for flexibility and speed."

Pipeline HD has also added support for Apple ProRes 422 in HD, Avid DNxHD and Panasonic DVCPRO HD formats. The Pipeline HD Dual device includes a confidence monitoring feature and preserves source metadata during the encoding process. It also features a redundant power supply for extra reliability.

Telestream is available from ieei.tv
