Offering multi-GE/10GE network performance of up to 400 Mbytes/sec. eStor line is offered based on latest distribution of open standard Linux with an end-to-end 64 bit storage computing platform. Also, all eStor systems leverage state of the x86 64-bit (Multi-core) CPUs, latest GE and 10GE latest network connectivity, RAID 5 or 6 (protection from double disk failures) and drive technologies. eStor as a integrated storage server can be easily packaged with various application software options from Apace such as Octopa for media storage consolidation, postMAM for Global access MAM management and archive and Camera Ingesters line for ingest and management of large captured media content by most popular Cameras. Loaded with deep solid state cache it can also be tailored for I/O intensive and heavy disk write operations. eStor is shipped with web-based integrated network, storage and user management software for easy access and remote management. It provides utilities like system status warning and disk failure prediction via email/ page notification. eStor can be flexibly adapted to different workgroup environment and network setups offering a storage server platform for hosting Apace media workflow application and media asset management software.
Given the flexibility, scalability and high availability of eStor platform, it targets a wide variety of applications in the small and large data centers and networked work groups. Shared for storage by heterogeneous client workstations and server clusters based on PC, MAC, Unix and Linux systems, eStor supports all clients over ubiquitous Ethernet without client software or hardware. Systems address the high availability needs via robust redundancy at all aspect of the system with hot swappable Hard disk drives, fans and redundant power supplies and ECC registered memory. eStor disk based networked storage offers RAID 5/6 reliability, scalability, simplicity and speed. eStor line can be a primary file based storage system as well as be used for archival and disk based backup. eStor cn be an attractive option for tapeless workflows which capacities packing 72TB in a 4U rackmount configuration while offering much faster speeds than tape libraries. |
